On the way to office today, I noticed that a water tanker had run over a person today morning near Gachibowli 'Subway' region. What a tragedy, the employee family suffers now, I found out that he is an Infosys employee. Who is accountable to prevent this fatal road accident tragedy on roads , law enforcement, RTO (make sure only the ones who can drive well are license), or the road users, or all of them need to do their bit for safer road, what’s wrong , or what’s right not happening ? Something needs to be done; the developed countries brought it down by law enforcements and good infrastructure (for example, I do not see any pedestrian crossings anywhere on the roads in Hyderabad). Unfortunately, We (Indians) have reached to a state where we not just ride on the vehicles on road but ride on our luck too!
Overall the trend is alarming; India is the #1 in road deaths: http://bit.ly/OXH7I
Life is precious and the present day pressures are taking away few of our nerves while driving. Let's not be engulfed by those false pressures. At the max, we might be 10 mins late to office..Lets appreciate the value of life and drive safely.
Yeah accidents is a very major area of concern in which we all are a part of it...its very hearting to see some1 on road die leaving behind whole of their family way behind....i remember few such deaths right in front of my eyes after which was unable to eat, sleep the rest of the day and i guess every1 of us would have seen such incidents and families suffering....one such was a live transition of a guy on 2-wheeler alive to death as if a movie running in front of my eyes, all due to his impatience who tried to overtake a bus and was ran over by a lorry coming opposite....all of us stood still watching him taking his last breath.Accidents do happen in every part of this world as the word means but in our country its at a very faster pace due to various uncontrollable reasons like population....but there are various ways to help control that every individual can contribute for the system as a whole like following proper rules, treating pesdestrians with repect and patience giving them way.....i was really impressed by countries like US the way people are taugh to respect pedestrians and follow rules....its difficult for country like India with large population but best can be made for our current situation......people should be encouraged to use more of public service example:In cities like Bangalore govt is providing awesome public service people should recognize and encourage among themselves which not only decreases the number of vehicles chaios on roads but also environment friendly.....therez lot of advantage to walk some distance and catch a bus its excercise cum lot other advantage.....i feel so sad for our traffic situation when i see many cars on roads with a single person in it...just imagine all of them using public service or pooling service; it can prevent lot of accidents on roads and also beneficial many other ways....its not only the govt to address the situation every1 of us should strive for a change and each one of us should develop patience for a Win-Win situation.....
